Volunteers

We feel we could never say "thank you" with deep enough conviction to the countless volunteers donating their time and efforts to restore and maintain Race Point Lighthouse. All buildings, except the lighthouse itself, would be a pile of bulldozed rubble if people had not stepped forward to save Race Point.

Financial Contributions

It takes cash, too. Lots of it. The majority of the funds to restore Race Point came from individuals. Now, most funds are generated from overnight guest stays.

Corporations and Individuals

Our sponsors have contributed in many ways. Please take a moment to visit them.

A special announcement! Race Point currently has three Suburbans in service for guest transport, one of which has very high mileage. The maintenance bills were starting to pile up when two very generous good samaritans came to our aid! Mike and Nita Cassata, a local (Cape Cod) couple, have parted ways with their personal Suburban. The Cassatas have owned the vehicle since new and taken very good care of it. This is the ninth vehicle we have used since 1995. We send Mike and Nita good wishes and a very heartfelt thank you for this much needed gift!

Arni is a regular guest at Race Point; after viewing his photos of our lighthouse, we just had to ask his permission to use one in our 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 brochures. His gracious donation is a photo of the lighthouse at sunset, and can be seen on the back cover. This photo and many others are also for sale. New in 2008 at Race Point is fresh drinking water. We now have reverse osmosis water filtration systems from the good folks at APEC. Visit their website at www.freedrinkingwater.com for details.
Artist Kay Bonnell has exquisetly captured the beauty of Race Point. These miniatures are actually displayed in museums and are very unique in their extreme detail and small size. Take a look at the Race Point Gift catalog for more information.
