The photos below show the septic system being installed. The blue tank (photo 1) was going to be the collection tank but proved to be the incorrect type. The white tank (photo 2) was determined to be the correct type. For scale you can see the orange work hat (photo 3) of one of the contractors. We did remember to remove him from the tank before the tank was buried!
The remaining pictures show the "leaching field" and the work needed to replace and grade the sand before we re-planted the sea grass.
